How many years have you been DJing?
Even though TNT Sound Productions was Est. 2007, our DJ’s have previously worked for other companies long before that. Our DJ’s experience range from 10-30 years.
How do you know what kind of music to play?
We send you a form that walks you through the event. This gives us an idea of what you would like on the day of. About 2 weeks prior to your event we talk on the phone and go over the form, to make sure we are on the same page. The form covers your timeline, couples’ names, types of music you do and do not want played, and if you have any special request throughout the night. This allows you to enjoy yourself while we are watching the time and making sure things are on track.
Do you do Ceremonies?
Yes. We do Ceremonies as well. If you book us for the Ceremony - we provide a Speaker, Hand free microphone (Lavalier), Music when your guest arrive, and the Music you pick to be played during the Ceremony
Is your music censored?
Yes. We only play censored music. We also do not play any vulgar or offensive songs.
What is included if we book you?
All events include Dance Floor Lighting, Wireless Microphone, Professional set up, Master of Ceremonies, and one GREAT DJ.
Do you take requests?
Yes, unless directed not to. We only play appropriate requests that are in good taste.
What do you do if the dance floor is dead?
Our goal is to keep people on your dance floor all night long. If the dance floor becomes dead, we cut the song short and try a different genre of music.
Do you MC the event?
Yes. We MC throughout the night. We do not talk on the mic all night long or try and make your event about us.
Do you bring back up equipment to the event?
We always have back up equipment on hand for all events.
Do you set up and break down on your own time?
Yes. We do not charge you for set up or break down time. When your first guest arrives, music will be playing and plays until the end time stated on your contract
Do you work side by side with other vendors?
Yes. We work with the hall and your other vendors with one goal in mind. The most successful night possible. We ask you Photographer and/or Videographer, what time they are there until so we can make sure we get as many special events in so they can capture them. We also keep them in the loop so they know what is coming up.
What would you do if my DJ can’t make my event?
We would contact you immediately and have your new DJ contact you as well. If you do not feel the new DJ is a good fit, your money would be refunded. The only way a different DJ would be assigned to your event, would be in the case of an emergency.
How far do you travel?
We try and stay within 60 miles of the Metro Detroit Area. If we have to travel further, there would be an extra charge. The furthest event to this day is Reno, NV
